Transparent applicator packaging
Puritan recently introduced thermoformed transparent packaging, designed to make it easy for you to select the correct applicator. With clear film on one side and a durable paper label on the other, Puritan’s clear packaging ensures that contents remain contaminant-free during transporting. Multiple applicators can be packaged together, including different products. When you’re in a hurry, you’ll appreciate being able to quickly see package contents.
No-waste packaging for sterile swabs
Our packaging reflects customer use. For instance, sterile swabs that will likely be used one or two at a time are wrapped individually or in pairs to maintain sterility and reduce waste.
Packing information
With each product listing we note how the quantities are packaged. For example, 10/10/100 = 10 boxes of 10 bags of 100 each, such as non-sterile cotton-tipped applicators, and 10/100/1 = 10 boxes of 100 packages, 1 individually wrapped product per package.
Color-coded packaging for disposable medical supplies
Puritan packaging is color-coded. This makes it easy for you to put your hands on the right box when you’re looking for cotton-, rayon-, or polyester-tipped applicators or other Puritan disposable medical supplies. Color-coding is useful for inventory control and an added safety feature for the healthcare practitioner.

UCC/EAN bar coding
Our products are UCC/EAN bar coded to provide added convenience in inventory control. Outer and shipping boxes and cases — product boxes and packages — even sterile wrappers — are bar coded.
Multi-language content information
Our medical products display complete content information on all packaging, in English, Spanish, French, and German. You’ll also find, in English, the sizes of the product and information on sterility and individual packaging. This data is printed on each case and box and on the front of individually wrapped packets and products. That makes it easy to see no matter how our products are stored, stacked, or used.
