Puritan Receives Patents for HydraFlock® and PurFlock Ultra® Swabs in China

November 18, 2015 | GUILFORD, ME (U.S.) – Puritan Medical Products, North America’s largest manufacturer of specimen collection devices has been awarded two new Chinese patents for their high-performance flocked swabs, the single-use medical device manufacturer announced today.

The patents for the HydraFlock® swab (ZL 201080049992.7) and PurFlock Ultra® swab (ZL 201080049991.2) are the eleventh and twelfth international patents Puritan has received.

Puritan also has device and method patents in the United States, Canada, Australia, Europe and Japan for their line of flocked swabs.
