Puritan Universal Transport Systems Get Rebrand: UniTranz-RT™

We’ve got big news! In response to outstanding customer feedback, we’re rebranding our universal transport system products. Our popular media transport system, used to test for virus, chlamydia, mycoplasma and ureaplasma, will now be sold under the brand name UniTranz-RT™.

“We’ve had a remarkable response to this product line from the laboratory community due to superior quality and consistent availability,” said Puritan Executive Vice President Timothy Templet. “To better reflect the quality of our products and align them with the brand we’ve spent more than 90 years building, we have renamed the universal transport medium product line.”

Puritan UniTranz-RT™ Label Reflects Outstanding Quality

As a testament to our long-standing commitment to quality and reliability, the transition to the branded UniTranz-RT™ label will make it easier for customers to quickly identify our exceptional products in the marketplace.

Look for Our New UniTranz-RT™ Label

In the next few weeks you’ll see our content and branding pertaining to our transport systems start to change. Once we exhaust our old-label inventory, we’ll begin shipping our universal transport systems with the new UniTranz-RT™ label.

Should you order in bulk, you may even receive a shipment containing both UTM and UniTranz-RT™ labels. Rest assured, aside from the label, the Puritan universal testing system is exactly the same and does not require additional validation.
