See Our Flocked Swabs at the 2013 Annual ASM Region One Meeting

Puritan ASM Region One

We're looking forward to attending the 48th Annual ASM Region One Meeting at the University of Connecticut - Storrs this October 25-26.

The annual event, sponsored by the American Society for Microbiology, caters to the microbiology communities in Connecticut Valley, NYC, Eastern New York, and other "Northeast Branches" of the ASM.

The American Society for Microbiology was founded in 1899 with just 59 members. Today, the group boasts 39,000 members and continues to grow. In a nod to their long history, this year's annual meeting will be complimented by the Milestones in Microbiology symposium, which will honor Herbert W. Conn - a former former UConn faculty member whose contributions to the field of microbiology (including his studies in dairy bacteriology) remain relevant almost 100 years after his 1917 death.

In addition to this historic dedication, attendees at the Annual Meeting can expect educational sessions, a banquet and awards ceremony, and exhibitors.

We’ll be there exhibiting our patented flocked swabs and media transport systems and other single use medical products. Stop by our booth for demos and free samples; and feel free to come equipped with questions for our representatives!

We look forward to seeing you this year at the 48th Annual ASM Region One Meeting in Connecticut.
