Our packaging makes it easy to order, store, and use Puritan’s single-use medical devices and diagnostic, lab, food safety, pharmaceutical, and industrial supplies. It’s designed for user convenience and simplified inventory control. Look below for more information.
Designed to make it easy for you to select the correct applicator before and after sampling, Puritan’s clear packaging ensures visibility to avoid any mix-up or cross-contamination during transport. In addition, multiple applicators can be packaged together, with the same or different products. When time and accuracy count, you’ll appreciate being able to quickly see package contents.
Our packaging reflects customer use. For instance, sterile swabs that will likely be used one or two at a time are wrapped individually or in pairs to maintain sterility and reduce waste.
With each product listing we note how the product quantities are packaged. For example, 10/10/100 = 10 boxes of 10 bags of 100 each, such as non-sterile cotton-tipped applicators, and 10/100/1 = 10 boxes of 100 packages, 1 individually wrapped product per package.
Puritan packaging is color-coded. This makes it easy for you to put your hands on the right box, no matter which Puritan single-use products you need. Color coding is useful for inventory control and also acts as an added safety feature for the healthcare practitioner, lab tech, or other professional user.
Our products are UCC/EAN bar-coded to provide added convenience in inventory control.

In order to comply with the FDA's new packaging regulation known as the Unique Device Identification (UDI) system, Puritan has begun updating the packaging and labels of all products with a code which will reflect certain criteria such as lot number and expiration date. To prepare our valued customers for this impending change, we recently sent out a letter stating that we are updating our products, and customers can expect to see 4 major changes in our labels and packaging. These new changes will both fulfill the FDA's requirements, and make it simpler for our customers to easily access all details about each specific product, all in one place. If you have questions about these changes, please feel free to contact us.
